ReplyDeleteIndividuality is exceptionally important. It mirrors a person's uniquess and allows them to be more than just "a face in the crowd". One can be both an individual and a member of society at the same time. Each must be done in moderation. If one becomes to powerful over the other, then the balance of society is jeopardized. However, in the grand scheme of the world, individuality matters more than conformity. On a personal note, I particularly advocate being one's own self rather than someone else. You are who you are and "YOU is the best person that YOU can be!" Haha...That is good sounding english huh?!

ReplyDeleteA Street Sweeper! HAHA! Nah, just kidding! Well, I would like to be a part of rebuilding compassion among mankind. I love to help and assist others and I donate to several charities. I have a BIG heart for others who have various hardships in their lives. In any society, new or old, compassion must exist! Individuality is one thing, but what good is a world where everyone lives solely for themselves and casts out those around them? Love and kindness have to be in the picture somewhere!

ReplyDeleteI think individuality is very important. It is very important because an individual has unique ideas and perspectives. Through their unique ideas and perspectives an individual contributes to society in a positive way. For example, in the work place, an individual brings their own unique ideas to the table. Also, they have their own way of problem solving. I feel indivualism is more important than conformity. Indivualism makes society more interesting.

If society were destroyed, I would like to help rebuild people's moral values. In our current society, I would like to see people with higher moral standards and people doing the right thing, even if it doesnt benefit them.
